Anderson County Post #172

The Anderson County American Legion Post 172 New Post Home Ground Breaking.

 

Members of the Anderson County American Legion Post 172 held a ground breaking ceremony on Dec 16, 2021, to officially mark the beginning of construction for the new post home on the post property located in Clinton. 

 

The Anderson County American Legion Post 172 has been a community staple located on Spring Street since 1937, when the H. C. Slover family donated the property to the post. Please read the "Post History" tab under POST INFORMATION on the Post website.  

 

The Post meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30-pm, currently meeting at the Clinton Community Center until the new building is completed.

The American Legion is open to all military members who served Honorably since Dec 7, 1941 – Pearl Harbor through present day.
